ISTANBUL

THE SPICE MARKET IN ISTANBUL.

Istanbul - Another great place, and a nice contrast to all the other european cities we have seen. It reminds me a little of malaysia, but more modern and clean. The city is probably more eastern, with a touch on western which gives it its character.

The geography of the place is well used with great views of the rivers all around. We went to a couple of mosques, a palace and the market. Loved the market, bargaining is so much fun, got some good deals on a couple of handbags for Hong, but I probably still got ripped off :). Brought back some great turkish delights and had plenty of kebabs.

The grilled seafood by the river side with decent beer was very nice as well.
