The Greatwall of China

The Greatwall, young and old wants to try to climb. It is not as easy as it looks. Some parts are very steep and the steps are high. The day was a fine spring day, with the cold wind it was around 14c. This part of the wall is in Beijing.

The Great Wall of china, its' awesome, you have to see it, climb it, and feel it to really know what its' all about. An item you must see in your life time!
Go for it, give it a try.

THE GREAT WALL.

The Great wall, one of the greatest wonders of the world. The history of building this wall goes far back to the Qin, Han, and Ming dynasties. The 3 states, Yan, Zhao, and Qin built this wall for their own protection.

Emperor Qin Shihuang joined the walls together to form the great wall. The Ming rulers restored the walls and added more to it. This helped to keep the Huns away from the north.

The great army of people, who helped build this wall, were locals, soldiers and prisoners, many died from the hash conditions and hard labor. The weak and the sick, fallen and buried beside the wall. The unnamed heroes of the great wall.

Today, most parts are crumbling and broken due to years of wear and tear and the hash elements.
The marvel of the style and wisdom in this building are still very much admired today.

This is not only a wall, there are signal towers, watch towers, guard houses, huge steps along the wall.
When you climb the Great Wall, you wonder how the soldiers do their duties. The cold wind blowing, the loneliness, and the long long cold stone wall, doing their duties day and night!
In every province, the builders had to use local materials, and what they don’t have had to be send from near and far.
